Costa da Morte
The perfect hotel location is amazing for exploring Costa da Morte. Its position is near practically everywhere, especially the beautiful sea and breathtaking landscapes of Camariñas and Atlantic Ocean. Just one block from the harbor, within a 3-minute walk to the pier where you can see all the fishermen life.
Museum Do Encaixe
It houses the vestiges of a centuries-old and hypnotic craftsmanship: bobbin lace. This ancient and peculiar museum reviews the history of this practice, and where every Easter an international exhibition is held with exclusive parades, visits of lacemakers from all over the world and concentrations of palilleiras from all over Galicia.
The 7 Lighthouses Road
This route is unique to see the power of the Sea and the coast, where beauty is mixed with respect for the bravery of nature. The spectacular coast that goes from Arou to Cabo Vilan is the origin of the name A Costa da Morte. One of the best thinking trails in Spain.
Hiking: two Muíños route
And it is that along its 23.8 kilometers, the visitor can go hiking and get to know many of the main tourist resources of the municipality of Camariñas, such as the Cabo Vilán lighthouse, 5 km from the hotel, the first lighthouse in all of Spain to have electric light (1896); the Hundreds English Cemetery, a resting place for hundreds of English sailors who died Road or the ruins of the Castelo do Soberano, just before reaching the final destination: the heart of Camariñas. The Muíño da Cota is located in the Parish of Ponte do Porto and is located on one of the hiking trails that run through the area.
